Town Demonstration Resilience Garden
Volunteer Registration

The Town of Barrington is creating a Demonstration Resilience Garden in Town Center. The project was developed in partnership with volunteers from various organizations including the Barrington Garden Club.

What We Do

The Barrington Garden Club participates in community activities, manages and cares for town gardens, organizes monthly education sessions and trips, works with the next generation of gardeners at the middle school in our Junior Club and much, much more.

Gardens in
Our Care

For over 60 years, The Barrington Garden Club has designed, maintained and financially supported eight highly visible gardens located throughout the center of town. The gardens have been designed and redesigned over decades and plant material is selected with conservation and the environment in mind.

Membership

Joining a garden club is a great way to “green” your thumb. Membership also provides an opportunity to expand your interests and build lifelong friendships while bettering your community and the environment.

Visit our membership page to learn more about how to become a member or to RSVP for our next meeting.

Conservation

The Barrington Garden Club strives to increase awareness and participate in conservation efforts at the local and state level through projects, education, and community events.

Our History

The Barrington Garden Club was established in 1931. We’re still going strong through our efforts to address conservation, community, education, and service.
